Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A part-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available in an elementary school setting in Lowell, MA, within the K-12 age group. This contract role is ideal for candidates holding an Massachusetts SLP license and who are passionate about supporting students speech and language development.

Responsibilities include evaluating, diagnosing, and treating speech, language, and communication disorders among school-aged children. You will collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student's needs. Consistent documentation and progress reporting are essential components of the role. The position requires availability five days per week with flexible part-time hours.

Qualifications and experience desired:

  • Valid Massachusetts Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license
  • Experience working with children in a school or clinical setting
  • Strong knowledge of speech and language assessment tools
  • Familiarity with IDEA and special education laws
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
