Job Description\n
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Cath Lab position requiring strong cath lab experience and MA RN licensure.
\n \n Responsibilities\n
- Work in a hospital-based Cardiology Cath Lab setting
- 4x10 hour shifts from 07:00 to 17:30 with a rotating day off
- Patient care involves adult cardiology cases in the cath lab environment
- Uses Epic for charting
- No validated parking is available; public transportation and paid public parking options are required
- Provide nursing care and support during cardiac catheterization procedures
- Work as part of a multidisciplinary cath lab team
- Adhere to a dress code and participate in fit testing as needed
- RTO must be declared at the time of consideration
- Must reside at least 60 miles from the hospital to be considered a traveler; local candidates have different rate structures
- Holiday and weekend coverage may be required based on shift scheduling
- First time travelers are not accepted; prior travel experience in this specialty is required

- Active, unrestricted MA RN license required and must be held at time of consideration; MA conditional licenses are not accepted
- Minimum 3 years recent cath lab experience required
- Minimum 1 year prior travel RN experience required
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications required from AHA only
- Proof of COVID-19 vaccination and flu vaccine required with no exemptions considered
- Primary source verification for license and certifications required
- References required as part of consideration
