Job Duties:
- Perform all MRI procedures using GE MRI equipment in a fast-paced environment.
- Position patients, select technical factors, and tailor exams to patient condition and clinical indication.
- Perform venipuncture and administer contrast media as required.
- Assess and recognize normal and abnormal anatomy/pathology; review exams with Radiologist as needed.
- Perform point-of-care testing and maintain QA on related equipment.
- Respond appropriately to medical emergencies and function effectively under stress.
- Communicate clearly with patients, families, and staff.
- Maintain documentation and ensure compliance with all safety and infection control standards.
Qualifications:
- Experience: MRI experience required; must be able to work independently.
- Education: Graduate of accredited MRI program or equivalent.
- Certifications: ARRT(MR) required; BLS required.
- Equipment: GE MRI experience required.
- Skills: Venipuncture, point-of-care testing, QA procedures, anatomy/pathology assessment.
