Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Deaf Education, active DHH teaching certification, and 1+ years Teacher of the Deaf / Hard of Hearing experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A school in Merrimack, NH is seeking a dedicated Teacher of the Deaf / Hard of Hearing to provide specialized instruction and support to students with hearing impairments. Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized and group instruction tailored to the specific needs of students who are deaf or hard of hearing

- Conduct assessments to monitor student growth and adjust instructional strategies accordingly

Qualifications and Experience:
- Certified Teacher for the Deaf / Hard of Hearing or equivalent licensure
- Experience working with students who are deaf or hard of hearing in educational settings
- Knowledge of communication methods such as American Sign Language (ASL), spoken language, and auditory-verbal techniques
- Strong collaboration and communication skills with students, families, and interdisciplinary teams
