Make a difference in students’ lives as a full-time School Psychologist working with two vibrant elementary schools serving grades K-5. This contract opportunity offers the chance to collaborate with supportive staff and develop meaningful connections with children in a diverse and welcoming educational setting. With a 40-hour workweek and immediate start, you’ll provide critical psychological services and be part of initiatives that foster positive student development.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Master’s or Specialist-level degree in School Psychology from an accredited institution
- Valid state certification or eligible for certification as a School Psychologist
- Experience working in K-5 or elementary school settings preferred
- Strong skills in assessment, consultation, and intervention
- Ability to develop and implement individualized education and behavioral plans
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational abilities
- Compassionate, adaptable, and dedicated to student growth and well-being
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations and assessments for students in grades K-5
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student needs
- Develop and monitor individualized education programs (IEPs)
- Provide direct counseling, intervention, and crisis support as needed
- Promote healthy learning environments and address behavioral, academic, and emotional concerns
- Participate in prevention and early intervention initiatives within both elementary schools
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with school and district guidelines
