Step into a rewarding role supporting young learners as a full-time Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) in a school environment near Salem, NH. This contract opportunity spans from August 31st through June 24th, following school hours from 8:15AM to 3:15PM, Monday through Friday, for a total of 32.5 hours each week. You'll work directly with K-3 students, making a meaningful impact each day.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid RBT certification and ABA training required
- Previous experience working in school settings is essential
- Comfortable adapting to district guidelines and protocols
- High school diploma required
- Ability to independently manage a caseload of students in need
- Reliable transportation and proximity to commute are necessary
- District fingerprints must be completed as part of onboarding
- BT candidates are strongly preferred; paraprofessionals are not eligible
- Please note: RBTs must be able to operate without district-provided supervision
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver evidence-based behavioral interventions to K-3 students
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to tailor support strategies
- Accurately document progress and communicate updates to relevant staff
- Support students in classroom integration and behavioral development
- Ensure all interventions align with ABA best practices and student goals
