You'll play a crucial role in both general education and intensive needs classrooms, collaborating closely with teachers and fellow professionals to create a nurturing and effective learning atmosphere.
Key Qualifications & Experience:
- Demonstrated experience as a paraprofessional in a school setting
- ABA training or relevant experience required
- Background supporting students with behavioral or intensive needs
- High school diploma (minimum education requirement)
- Comfortable working with the special education (SPED) population
- Reliable transportation a must
- Ability to adapt to changes, including classroom rearrangements
- Willingness to complete district fingerprinting and onboarding requirements
- At least one completed reference
- Ready for a Zoom interview
Your Responsibilities:
- Provide one-on-one and small group support to preschool students
- Assist with individualized education and behavioral support plans
- Foster an inclusive, positive, and safe classroom environment
- Work collaboratively with educators and related service providers
- Communicate progress and concerns as appropriate
- Help implement ABA strategies and behavior interventions
- Support transitions and routines in both general and specialized classroom settings
Position Details:
- Part-time (Monday–Thursday, 26 hours/week)
- Work hours: 8:30AM–2:50PM
- Contract runs through June 17, 2026
- Immediate start available
