Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients in the emergency department, ensuring prompt assessment, intervention, and management of acute conditions
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and maintain clear communication
- Monitor patient status, administer medications, and document care in compliance with hospital policies and regulatory standards
- Maintain a safe, supportive environment for patients and staff during emergency situations
Qualifications and Desired Experience
- Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license with Emergency Nursing experience
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, rotating shift environment (36-hour shifts)
- Current flu vaccination is required for this role
- Reliable transportation required to meet shared housing arrangements and shift requirements
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills with excellent communication abilities
