Our client is seeking a Technical Environment Manager to oversee and coordinate multiple complex technical environments that support a large‑scale investment management technology transformation within an OCIO framework. This role ensures stable, secure, scalable environments across development, testing, staging, and production, partnering closely with investment teams, architecture, engineering, and third‑party vendors.

Responsibilities:
Environment Oversight
- Ensure stability, scalability, security, and regulatory compliance.
- Oversee multi‑stack interoperability, data integrity, and high availability.
- Align environment delivery with project phases and business priorities.
- Manage development, integration, testing, staging, production, and DR environments.
Infrastructure & Platform Coordination
- Maintain monitoring, capacity planning, and environmental health processes.
- Partner with architecture and engineering teams to support investment data ingestion, analytics, and portfolio management.
- Oversee deployment and integration of platforms such as State Street Alpha, FactSet, Jacobi, and proprietary systems.
Vendor & Service Provider Management
- Manage relationships with key technology vendors.
- Coordinate upgrades, patches, and escalations.
- Participate in SLAs, risk assessments, and contract reviews.
Risk, Compliance & Security
- Support incident response and root‑cause analysis.
- Ensure compliance with data privacy, security, and operational risk policies.
- Collaborate with cybersecurity teams on controls and vulnerability management.
Process Improvement & Automation
- Drive automation in provisioning, deployment, and monitoring.
- Maintain environmental documentation, standards, and best practices.
Stakeholder Collaboration
- Serve as liaison between investment teams, IT, and vendors.
- Provide environmental status updates, risk reporting, and issue escalation.
Qualifications/Must Haves:
- Strong problem‑solving skills and proactive risk management approach.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.
- Ability to coordinate multiple projects in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment.
- Experience integrating diverse technology stacks and multi‑platform environments.
- Strong understanding of SDLC, testing processes, and environment provisioning.
- 10+ years managing complex technical environments in large‑scale IT landscapes.
- Experience supporting investment management or financial services applications (internal + SaaS)
- Deep knowledge of investment management business processes (data, trading, reporting)
Preferred Skills:
- Knowledge of AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Experience with Agile, DevOps, or CI/CD.
- Familiarity with ITIL or ITSM frameworks.
- Experience with State Street Alpha, FactSet, Jacobi.
- Prior OCIO or investment consulting experience.
