We are seeking an experienced Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to join a 51-bed skilled nursing and rehabilitation facility that provides both short-term and long-term care in a warm, resident-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, develop, and coordinate nursing staff education programs, including orientation and in-service training
  • Ensure staff are properly trained and compliant with clinical expectations and care standards
  • Oversee and support the Infection Control Program
  • Monitor infection trends, analyze outcomes, and recommend corrective actions
  • Ensure compliance with infection prevention protocols and safety standards
  • Assist with staffing coverage to maintain proper nurse-to-patient ratios
  • Participate in on-call rotation with nursing leadership team
  • Evaluate quality of resident care and promote continuous improvement

Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in New Hampshire, in good standing
  • Minimum 2 years supervisory experience in a healthcare setting (preferably long-term care)
  • Strong knowledge of nursing practices in skilled nursing/long-term care
  • CPR/BLS certification required; IV certification preferred
  • Ability to work independently and make sound clinical decisions
  • Strong communication skills with residents, families, staff, and regulatory agencies
