Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) – PRN

$55–$60/hour | PRN
Bring a functional approach to speech-language pathology at Bedford Hills Center. Stern Therapy Consultants is hiring a PRN Speech-Language Pathologist to help skilled nursing residents communicate effectively, navigate daily cognitive tasks, and address swallowing difficulties.
What You'll Do

Assess speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing abilities to determine appropriate treatment.

Build individualized care plans around residents' clinical findings and everyday priorities.

Provide interventions for expressing needs, understanding information, attention, memory, and problem-solving.

Deliver dysphagia treatment and coordinate swallowing recommendations with nursing and dietary staff.

Teach residents and caregivers practical strategies to use during daily interactions and routines.

Measure progress, update clinical records, and contribute to interdisciplinary care and discharge planning.

Qualifications

Active New Hampshire Speech-Language Pathologist license.

Strong clinical skills in adult communication, cognitive, and swallowing assessment and treatment.

Clear communication and accurate, timely documentation.

Skilled nursing or geriatric rehabilitation experience preferred.
