Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid state licensure or eligibility as an Occupational Therapist (OT)
- Previous experience in a school setting or working with pediatric populations strongly preferred
- Ability to effectively assess student abilities and create therapy plans
- Strong organizational, communication, and collaboration skills
- Understanding of compliance processes, documentation, and IEP involvement
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct therapy services to students in accordance with their IEPs
- Evaluate students to determine therapy needs and document progress
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and other professionals to support student success
- Participate in meetings to develop and update individualized education plans
- Provide consultative support to staff to ensure generalization of skills in the classroom
- Maintain thorough and accurate documentation for all services provided
