We’re looking for a compassionate, reliable Personal Care Assistant (PCA) who enjoys helping others, keeping environments tidy and welcoming, and being a friendly, reassuring presence for residents.
This role is perfect for someone who loves meaningful interaction, takes pride in keeping things running smoothly, and wants to be part of a team that values kindness, respect, and resident-centered care.
Shifts: Day 7AM - 3PM, part-time
Compensation: $18.00 - $23.00 based on experience
What You’ll Do
As a PCA, you’ll provide essential nonclinical support that helps our licensed caregivers focus on direct resident care
.
Your daily responsibilities may include:

Delivering meals and snacks to residents who feed themselves

Assisting as a kitchen runner and obtaining approved meal substitutions

Setting up and cleaning dining areas
-
Making beds, cleaning overbed tables, sweeping, mopping, and removing trash
-
Organizing closets and drawers, cleaning wheelchairs and equipment
-
Providing fresh water and ice
-
Transporting dirty linen and stocking clean linen
-
Cleaning unused medical equipment and utility rooms
-
Offering companionship through reading, games, cards, and conversation

Helping residents and visitors with tablets, phones, computers, and TVs
-
Transporting residents to activities after safe transfer by certified staff

Delivering mail and posting activity calendars

Checking vacant rooms and preparing them for new admissions
-
Reporting resident needs, refusals, changes in condition, or safety concerns
-
Protecting resident dignity, privacy, and rights
-
Following infection‑control, emergency, and safety procedures

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent
-
Experience in healthcare, senior living, or personal care is helpful but not required

Ability to meet physical demands (standing, bending, lifting 35 lbs, etc.)

Willingness to work occasional weekends or holidays
