- Shifts start at 11:30AM – Mondays are 8 hours, Tues-Fri are 6+ hours depending on volume.
- $19.35/hr

Does not need direct lab experience. past experience working in a detail oriented role with demonstrated ability for independent work is more highly valued, but some scientific background or interest is helpful for training speed.

Summary: The main function of a lab technician is to support laboratory operations through general maintenance of laboratory and supply storage areas, equipment, instruments, and supplies. The typical lab technician is expected to use general lab methods, techniques, equipment, and instrumentation in compliance with quality assurance programs and standard operating procedures.

Job Responsibilities:
\n
Retrieve samples from Sample Control for analysis
\n
Perform sample preparation including but not limited to: aliquot samples, spike and trace samples, prepare reagents, bottle samples, prepare concentrations, separation, sonication, liquid rack set up
\n
Resolve discrepancies and anomalies to ensure samples are properly labeled
\n
Prepare general lab paperwork such as recording analysis results, tracking samples, bench sheets, and lab logbooks
\n
Wash lab glassware to prepare for next days samples
\n
