Location: Andover, Massachusetts. This is a hybrid position combining in-office work in Andover with remote work flexibility.

Note: Candidates must have 5+ years of paralegal experience. Strong litigation experience and prior experience supporting labor and employment attorneys or working within a larger law firm environment are highly preferred.

Job Description

  • Support attorneys handling labor, employment, litigation, and related legal matters
  • Assist with preparation, organization, and filing of legal documents
  • Coordinate litigation deadlines, calendars, hearings, meetings, and case materials
  • Proofread and format correspondence, pleadings, briefs, and other legal documents
  • Maintain organized electronic and physical matter files
  • Assist with document production, discovery, and litigation preparation
  • Communicate professionally with attorneys, clients, courts, agencies, and outside parties
  • Manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced legal environment
  • Provide high-level administrative and paralegal support to attorneys and the broader legal team

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of paralegal or directly related legal support experience
  • Litigation experience required
  • Labor and employment law experience strongly preferred
  • Large law firm experience preferred
  • Strong document preparation, proofreading, organizational, and scheduling skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Experience with document management systems
  • Legal billing software experience is a plus
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong professionalism, confidentiality, attention to detail, and ability to work under pressure
