Job Description

Job DescriptionIntroduction
Take the next step in your ER nursing career as a Registered Nurse in an Emergency Department setting, with a compelling multi-week assignment in Springfield, Vermont. In this role, you’ll bring rapid assessment, decisive action, and compassionate care to patients at their most vulnerable moments. You’ll triage, stabilize, administer medications, perform procedures within scope, collaborate with physicians, and guide patients and families through acute illness and injury. Each shift is an opportunity to sharpen clinical judgment, mentor teammates, and shape outcomes for a community that values resilience and care. Beyond the bedside, Vermont’s scenic landscapes and small-town charm offer a balanced backdrop for professional growth and personal well-being—think autumn foliage, outdoor adventures, and a welcoming, four-season environment that makes every day meaningful.

Location Benefits
Springfield sits in the heart of Vermont’s Green Mountain region, offering a supportive community, easy access to training resources, and predictable scheduling with a focus on work-life harmony. The state’s clean air, abundant outdoor recreation, and safe neighborhoods create a quality of life that complements high-stakes clinical work. For nurses seeking broader experience, our nationwide program provides the opportunity to work in various locations across the U.S.—from vibrant city hospitals to intimate rural facilities—while preserving your core ER role on a multi-week assignment. You’ll expand your clinical repertoire, encounter diverse patient populations, and build a network of colleagues who value education, safety, and teamwork.

Role Specifics and Benefits
In this ER nursing role, you’ll lead rapid patient assessments, implement stabilization measures, initiate IV access, administer medications, monitor tubes and drains, perform procedures within scope, interpret monitors, and coordinate care with physicians and allied teams. You’ll contribute to triage decisions, participate in code activations, and support discharge planning and family education. The position offers clear pathways for professional growth—advanced certifications (such as CEN or other ER specialties), leadership tracks, and precepting opportunities for new grads or traveling teammates. We offer a competitive compensation package that includes a weekly pay range of $2,236 to $2,402, plus a sign-on bonus and housing assistance to ease relocation. Extended contracts and renewal options provide continuity for your career trajectory. You’ll enjoy robust support from a dedicated travel team, a 24/7 assistance line, and on-site coordinators who ensure seamless transitions between assignments. A guaranteed 36.0 hours per week means dependable income and predictable scheduling in a dynamic ER environment.

Company Values
At our core, the company is committed to empowering your career—providing access to continuing education, mentorship, and a collaborative, inclusive culture where nurses are heard, respected, and supported. We value safety, quality improvement, and the belief that growing your skills strengthens patient outcomes and the communities we serve.
