Responsibilities
- Oversee projects from preconstruction through closeout, ensuring schedule, budget, and quality goals are met.
- Act as the primary liaison between ownership, clients, architects, engineers, and field teams.
- Manage project documentation, including contracts, change orders, RFIs, and submittals.
- Coordinate with superintendents and field staff to maintain daily workflow and resolve site issues promptly.
- Track project costs, schedule progress, and maintain communication with the company owner on all major project developments.
- Participate in regular project meetings and ensure proactive communication among all team members.
- Support procurement and subcontractor coordination efforts to keep projects on track.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Superintendent, Assistant Project Manager, or Project Manager within commercial or mixed-use construction.
- Strong understanding of construction means, methods, and scheduling.
- Proficiency in project management software (Procore, MS Project, or similar).
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred (or equivalent experience).
