Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist opportunity is available for the 25/26 school year in Boston, MA. This contract position offers a 37.5-hour workweek serving students from kindergarten through 12th grade, with placement depending on the SLPs experience. Four openings are available to support a diverse student population with a strong emphasis on bilingual services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive speech and language evaluations and therapy for K-12 students
- Develop individualized treatment plans addressing communication disorders
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and support staff to maximize student progress
- Document and maintain accurate records of services and student performance
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute professional insights regarding speech and language goals
Qualifications:
- Certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) required; Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred
- Experience working with school-aged children across multiple grade levels
- Bilingual proficiency in Spanish strongly preferred to meet the needs of a predominantly bilingual student body (approximately 70% Spanish-speaking)
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment
- Strong communication and organizational skills
