Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) – PRN

$40–$45/hour | PRN
Join Stern Therapy Consultants as a PRN Physical Therapist Assistant at Vantage Health in Wakefield, MA. In this skilled nursing rehabilitation role, you'll help residents practice the movements that support daily life-standing, transferring, walking, and building endurance-under the supervising Physical Therapist's plan of care.
What You'll Do

Carry out prescribed physical therapy treatments that address each resident's functional goals.

Guide strengthening exercises, balance activities, and endurance training within the established care plan.

Practice safe transfers, bed mobility, and walking with the appropriate assistance and equipment.

Reinforce mobility techniques with residents and caregivers to support progress between sessions.

Observe changes in comfort, fatigue, and performance, keeping the supervising PT informed.

Maintain clear treatment notes and coordinate with nursing and therapy colleagues on residents' mobility needs.

Qualifications

Active Massachusetts Physical Therapist Assistant license.
