Preschool Lead Teacher - EEC Certified
The Learning Experience - Franklin, MA
Pay: $23-$25 per hour, based on experience and qualifications
Schedule: Full-Time, Monday-Friday
The Learning Experience - Franklin is seeking an enthusiastic Preschool Lead Teacher who loves helping young children become confident, curious, creative, and increasingly independent.
You'll take ownership of your classroom while creating engaging experiences that strengthen early academic skills, friendships, communication, problem-solving, and kindergarten readiness.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead daily Preschool classroom routines and learning activities
- Implement The Learning Experience's L.E.A.P. Curriculum
- Create experiences supporting literacy, math, science, language, creativity, and social-emotional development
- Encourage independence, problem-solving, and positive peer relationships
- Use positive guidance and consistent classroom routines
- Observe and document children's development
- Guide and support Assistant Teachers
- Build strong relationships and communicate regularly with families
- Maintain a safe, organized, and engaging classroom
- Follow Massachusetts EEC requirements
Qualifications
- Must meet Massachusetts EEC requirements to serve as a Preschool Lead Teacher
- Professional Preschool or early childhood classroom experience required
- Lead Teacher or classroom leadership experience preferred
- Strong classroom management and communication skills
- Passion for early childhood education and children's development
