Director of Operations - Mechanical Construction

Position Overview
As a a part of one of the the top Mechanical Contractors in the Northeast. The Director of Operations for Mechanical Construction will be responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and completion of mechanical construction projects. This role involves strategic leadership to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards while managing a team of professionals in the mechanical and MEP space.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage all aspects of mechanical construction operations, including project planning, execution, and delivery.
  • Collaborate with project managers to ensure that projects meet timelines and budgets while adhering to safety and quality standards.
  • Develop and implement operational strategies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness in mechanical construction.
  • Oversee resource allocation, including manpower, materials, and equipment, for various projects.
  • Ensure compliance with all industry regulations and standards in mechanical and HVAC construction.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in mechanical construction operations, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Proven experience in project management, including planning, execution, and oversight of large-scale construction projects.
  • Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, MEP systems, and construction methodologies.

Benefits

Compensation: $180,000-$230,000 (DOE)
