Job Opportunity – Cardiac Medical Telemetry RN – New Hampshire

Start Date: January 19, 2026
Location: Portsmouth, New Hampshire
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: 3 - 12-hour shifts with every other weekend, or 4-week shift rotation

Highlights:

• 20-bed cardiac stepdown and medical telemetry unit serving a STEMI-certified, stroke center, and Level II Trauma facility
• 5:1 patient ratio with strong team support including free charge nurse, LNAs, and unit clerk
• Diverse cardiac patient population including CHF, COPD, chest pain rule-outs, stroke overflow, chest tubes, pacemakers, and trachs
• Advanced procedures on unit: thoracentesis, peritoneal dialysis, tracheostomy care, cardiac catheterization, and CIWA protocols
• Modern equipment including hi-flow oxygen, BiPAP, IV pumps, and Kangaroo pumps
• Meditech Expanse documentation system with bedside shift handoff rounds

Requirements:

• Active RN license in New Hampshire or compact state eligibility
• Proficient telemetry monitoring experience required
• ACLS and BLS certification required
• Strong background in cardiac stepdown or medical telemetry nursing
• Ability to manage high-acuity cardiac and medical patients
