Key Responsibilities\n

  • Conduct comprehensive, trauma-informed mental health assessments to understand each client's unique history and identify effective treatment strategies.

  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to support trauma recovery, resilience-building, and overall mental wellness.

  • Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), in individual and group therapy sessions.

  • Facilitate therapeutic sessions aimed at helping clients process trauma and develop sustainable coping strategies.
  • \n

  • Collaborate with psychiatrists, social workers, and other mental health professionals to provide integrated and holistic care, ensuring all aspects of the client’s well-being are addressed.

  • Engage in crisis intervention for clients facing traumatic emergencies, providing appropriate support to alleviate distress.

  • Educate clients and their families about trauma responses and available resources, fostering understanding and recovery.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work primarily with individuals who have experienced various forms of trauma, including but not limited to childhood abuse, domestic violence, and complex PTSD. Your therapeutic interventions will aid in alleviating the psychological impacts of trauma, nurturing resilience, and empowering clients to reclaim their lives.

Qualifications\n

  • A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

  • Current and valid licensure as an LICSW, LMHC, or LMFT in Massachusetts.

  • A solid grounding in trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed treatment modalities.

  • Proficiency in electronic health record systems and adept at utilizing technology for therapy delivery.

Compensation and Benefits\n
