Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A full-time Special Education and ESL teaching opportunity is available for the remainder of the current school year in a K-12 setting near Greenfield, MA. This itinerant contract role focuses on delivering specialized instruction tailored to meet the diverse needs of students requiring special education and English language support.

Responsibilities include:

  • Providing individualized and group instruction to students with special education needs.
  • Developing and implementing lesson plans aligned with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
  • Supporting English language learners by integrating ESL strategies into daily instruction.
  • Collaborating with classroom teachers, specialists, and families to promote student success.
  • Monitoring student progress and maintaining accurate records in compliance with school policies.

Qualifications:

  • Valid teaching certification in Special Education and/or ESL.
  • Experience working with K-12 students in a special education or ESL setting.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
  • Ability to adapt instructional approaches to diverse learning styles and needs.
  • Commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
