Job Title: Desktop Technician II
Shift: M-F 1st Shift 8am-5pm (1 hour lunch)

Job Summary:

  • Provide software, hardware, and network support to internal users.
  • Responsibilities include troubleshooting technical issues, assisting with software installations and configurations, as well as participating in documenting processes related to the IT Department.
  • Mid-level role responsible for more complex troubleshooting, system configuration, and supporting IT infrastructure components with moderate independence.

Essential Functions:

  • Install, configure, and support hardware, software, and specialized applications.
  • Perform advanced troubleshooting of desktops, laptops, printers, and network connectivity issues.
  • Manage user accounts, permissions, and group policies in Active Directory.
  • Contribute to process documentation and help refine IT procedures.
  • Assist in generating and analyzing IT metrics and dashboards.
  • Provide guidance to Level 1 technicians and help with escalations.
  • Participate in small IT projects (deployments, upgrades, rollouts).
  • Other duties as assigned.

Required Skills:

  • Strong troubleshooting skills across hardware, software, and network components.
  • Proficiency with Windows OS and Office 365 administration.
  • Working knowledge of Active Directory (OU management, group membership, basic GPO understanding).
  • Ability to work independently on moderately complex issues.
  • 3+ Years Experience
  • Medium work including moving objects up to 50lbs. 30 lbs. individually, anything heavier than that is a supported lift.

Desired Skills:

  • Hands-on experience with databases, servers, or network equipment.
  • Familiarity with imaging tools, ticketing systems, and remote support tools.
