Registered Nurse, Med Surg Tele, Needham, MA. Start date 01/04/2027 for 8 weeks. Weekly pay range $2,554–$2,656 per week. Guaranteed hours: 72 biweekly. Shift: 12-hour rotating (days/nights) with every-other weekend and holiday rotation (7:00 a.m.–7:30 p.m. or 7:00 p.m.–7:30 a.m.). Setting: hospital. This travel assignment requires specific licensure and experience and follows a winter staffing need.

Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to adult patients on the Med Surg Tele unit, including monitoring telemetry and delivering treatments per physician orders
- Administer medications, manage IV therapy, and ensure safe dosing and documentation in Epic
- Assess patient condition, implement and adjust plans of care, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team
- Monitor vital signs, respond to changes in patient status, and escalate issues promptly
- Educate patients and families on diagnoses, discharge planning, medications, and follow-up care
- Maintain clinical documentation accuracy and ensure patient safety and quality of care at all times
Requirements
- Licensed Registered Nurse in Massachusetts (MA) with active status
- 2+ years of Med Surg Tele experience
- BLS (AHA) certification; ACLS certification
- Epic experience required
- Ability to work 12-hour rotating shifts (days/nights) and to work every other weekend and holiday
- Capacity to work in a hospital setting and comply with unit standards
