Immerse yourself in meaningful in-person work from August 26, 2026, through June 17, 2027, collaborating with diverse educational teams to enhance outcomes for students of varying needs. This itinerant contract position offers the chance to make a broad impact, as you'll be visiting multiple schools throughout the district each week, serving as both a leader and an advocate for best behavioral practices.
What You'll Bring:
- Active BCBA certification with extensive experience in school settings
- Proven knowledge of conducting Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) and developing Behavior Support Plans (BSPs)
- Strong foundation in consulting with educational teams and providing actionable recommendations
- Expertise in data-driven decision-making and comprehensive data collection/analysis
- Effective training and modeling skills to empower teachers, support staff, and caregivers
- Excellent communication, organization, and collaboration abilities
- Flexibility and comfort traveling to various school sites within the district
What You’ll Do:
- Conduct student evaluations, including FBAs, and develop individualized BSPs
- Provide ongoing consultation and support for school teams, implementing evidence-based interventions
- Regularly gather and review behavioral data, adjust plans as needed, and document progress
- Facilitate professional development and training sessions for staff, modeling effective behavioral strategies
- Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure consistent support and optimal student growth across the district
