We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Mechanic to join our team in Chicopee. This is a full-time, permanent opportunity on first shift for a hands-on individual with strong mechanical aptitude and experience in fabrication and repair.
**Key Responsibilities:

Perform routine maintenance and repairs on production equipment and machinery

Troubleshoot mechanical and basic electrical issues to minimize downtime

Weld, fabricate, and cut materials as needed for equipment repairs and modifications

Conduct preventative maintenance to ensure optimal equipment performance

Work with conveyors, saws, and other lumber-processing machinery

Maintain a safe and clean work environment
**Qualifications:

Experience with welding, fabrication, and cutting required

Basic knowledge of electronics/electrical systems

Previous maintenance experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting

Lumber or wood products industry experience is a plus

Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a team
