This opportunity is seeking a skilled Pharmacy Technician experienced in high-volume pharmaceutical environments, offering a contract-to-hire position based in Cambridge, MA. The role supports a closed-door long-term care facility, requiring dedication to accuracy and efficiency in medication preparation and management.
Responsibilities include:
- Preparing medications in appropriate packaging such as blister packs and unit-dose for timely resident delivery
- Assisting with ordering, receiving, and stocking medications while ensuring proper storage conditions and monitoring expiration dates
- Maintaining accurate patient and medication records to ensure compliance and safety
Work Schedule:
- Monday through Friday: 3:30 PM 12:00 AM
- Rotating weekends
Desired Qualifications:
- Active Massachusetts Pharmacy Technician license (clear and in good standing)
- Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) certification preferred
- Proven experience as a Pharmacy Technician, especially in high-volume settings with a focus on speed and efficiency
- Familiarity or willingness to learn Frameworks software system
