Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Director of Pharmacy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
An interim leadership opportunity is available for a Pharmacy Manager at a smaller rural hospital in New Hampshire. This role reports directly to the Chief Operating Officer and requires a strong background in hospital pharmacy management. The primary focus is to oversee daily pharmacy operations while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and managing key department functions.
Responsibilities include:
- Managing daily operations of the pharmacy department
- Ensuring compliance with pharmacy regulations and internal policies
- Overseeing human resources and budgetary aspects related to the department
- Representing the pharmacy in organizational meetings and initiatives
- Leading various projects to improve pharmacy services
- Supervising a team of 5 full-time pharmacy staff members
Desired qualifications and experience:
- Proven hospital pharmacy management experience, preferably as a director or manager
- Ability and commitment to obtain a New Hampshire pharmacy license promptly (the state has a relatively straightforward licensing process)
- Strong leadership and communication skills to effectively represent the department
- Experience with budget management and regulatory compliance
