Key Responsibilities\n

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting assessments and developing tailored treatment plans for individuals, couples, and families.
  • \n

  • Providing therapy sessions utilizing evidence-based practices, both through telemedicine platforms and in-person meetings as needed.
  • \n

  • Specializing in a range of clinical issues including alcohol abuse, grief and loss, family conflicts, medical issues, and the dynamics of blended families.
  • \n

  • Facilitating open dialogue within families and fostering healthier communication patterns among family members.
  • \n

  • Monitoring and documenting client progress, adjusting treatment approaches as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
  • \n

  • Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to integrate care and share resources that enhance the therapeutic process.
  • \n

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will cater to a diverse clientele, including adults and children/adolescents facing various challenges such as emotional distress, relationship issues, and adjustment to life transitions. You will address specific issues including, but not limited to, conflicts among family members, separation and divorce adjustment, communication difficulties, and overall job-related stress. Providing a safe and affirming therapeutic environment is essential for fostering strong therapeutic alliances and effective client outcomes.

Qualifications\n

Applicants must hold the following qualifications:

  • Current and active Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) license in the state of Massachusetts.

  • A Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field from an accredited institution.

Preferred Experience\n
