Contract Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: Variable Nights
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN/LVN) to provide quality nursing care in a skilled nursing and rehabilitation setting. The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of LPN experience and strong patient-care skills.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to residents/patients.
- Administer medications and treatments as ordered.
- Monitor patient conditions and report changes to the appropriate healthcare provider.
- Perform nursing assessments and document patient care accurately.
- Assist with care planning and implementation.
- Collaborate with RNs, physicians, CNAs, and other healthcare professionals.
- Provide patient and family education as appropriate.
- Follow infection-control, safety, and facility policies.
- Maintain accurate and timely medical records.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 1+ year of LPN experience.
- High School Diploma required.
- BLS-AHA certification required.
- Active LPN license for the State of New Hampshire or a valid multistate license.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a healthcare team.
- Comfortable working variable night shifts.
Schedule
- Variable Night Shift
- 36 hours/week
- Shift includes a 30-minute unpaid meal break.
