Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) – PRN
Bedford Hills Center | Bedford, NH
$35–$40/hour | PRN
Help residents make progress with the movements they depend on every day. Stern Therapy Consultants is seeking a PRN Physical Therapist Assistant at Bedford Hills Center to provide hands-on treatment and support continuity of rehabilitation services in a skilled nursing setting.
What You'll Do

Carry out the supervising Physical Therapist's treatment plan, matching prescribed activities to residents' abilities and tolerance.

Coach residents through strengthening, balance, and endurance exercises.

Provide practice with walking, getting out of bed, and transferring safely between surfaces.

Reinforce proper use of prescribed mobility devices and follow resident-specific precautions.

Keep the PT informed of functional changes, treatment responses, and barriers to participation.

Complete clear treatment notes and coordinate with nursing and rehabilitation colleagues on daily mobility needs.
What We Offer

$35–$40 per hour.

Unlimited referral bonus, with up to $1,000 per successful referral.

Qualifications

Active New Hampshire Physical Therapist Assistant license.

Ability to provide individualized treatment within an established plan of care.

Attentive observation, effective communication, and accurate documentation.

Skilled nursing or post-acute experience is helpful; new graduates are welcome to apply.
