Job Description

Job DescriptionEmbark on a dynamic, patient-centered journey as a Registered Nurse in Med Surg Tele, offering a multi-week assignment that blends expert clinical practice with the beauty and charm of Windsor, Vermont. Picture yourself delivering skilled, compassionate care in a fast-paced telehealth-enabled medical-surgical setting, where every shift strengthens your expertise and your impact on patients’ lives. Begin March 17, 2026, with guaranteed 36 hours per week and a competitive weekly pay range of $2,113 to $2,246, designed to recognize your dedication and clinical excellence. This opportunity supports your growth while you explore new horizons, with ongoing certainty in a robust, supportive environment.

Nestled in the heart of Vermont, Windsor is a gateway to scenic beauty and outdoor exploration in every season. You’ll experience the charm of New England towns, crisp autumn foliage, and the serenity of nearby mountains and rivers. Beyond the local landscape, this role also opens doors to working in various locations across the U.S., offering the chance to broaden your professional network, build diverse clinical experiences, and savor the rich spectrum of community health settings that Travel Nursing makes possible. Vermont’s fall colors, pristine trails, and welcoming communities create an inspiring backdrop for your nursing career, while the broader assignment network lets you choose experiences that align with your personal and professional goals.

Role specifics and benefits
- As a Med Surg Tele RN, you’ll provide comprehensive care to adults with a range of medical conditions, combining traditional medical-surgical responsibilities with telemetry monitoring to promptly identify arrhythmias and evolving cardiac status.
- Core responsibilities include patient assessment and ongoing surveillance, IV therapy and medication administration, wound and post-procedure care, discharge planning, and collaboration with physicians, charge nurses, and ancillary staff to ensure seamless, patient-centered care.
- You’ll coordinate care plans, advocate for patient and family education, and document carefully in line with best practices and facility protocols. Telemetry integration means you’ll interpret rhythm strips, respond to telemetry alarms, and escalate concerns with clinical precision.
- The role offers strong opportunities for professional growth: expand your telemetry proficiency, strengthen critical thinking under pressure, participate in evidence-based care initiatives, and gain exposure to diverse medical-surgical populations that broaden your competency and resume.
- Benefits include a competitive compensation package with a potential bonus, housing assistance to ease transition, and the option to extend assignments if you and the facility agree it’s the right fit. You’ll also enjoy the stability of guaranteed hours, with a consistent 36-hour workweek for the duration of the assignment.

Support and continuity you can count on
- You’ll receive comprehensive support from a dedicated team available 24/7 as you travel, helping with onboarding, housing logistics, scheduling, and any needs that arise during the assignment. This support network is designed to let you focus on patient care, professional growth, and personal well-being.
- The placement program is built around your expertise and career goals, with clear paths to extension opportunities and potential transitions to longer-term roles or diverse clinical settings. You’ll have access to resources that empower you to excel, including continuing education opportunities and peer collaboration.

Company values: empowerment, growth, and a supportive culture
- Our company is committed to empowering nursing staff to advance their careers while maintaining a healthy work-life balance. You’ll join a community that values your voice, supports ongoing learning, and fosters a collaborative, respectful work environment where your contributions matter.
- The emphasis on professional development means you’ll have avenues to enhance clinical skills, mentorship from experienced leaders, and opportunities to influence patient care practices across settings. The focus is on your success as much as the patients you serve.
