JOB SUMMARY:
The primary responsibility of this position is to pull and verify electrical components into a kit from a work order, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in all job functions.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Read work orders and determine components to be kitted.
- Accurately pull parts to verify MPN and QTY.
- Sort, label, and place materials on racks, carts, or bins as required.
- Issue parts to work orders using inventory control software.
- Perform cycle counts on inventory manually as well as using reel counters/scales.
- Moving merchandise with carts and other moving equipment.
- Sweep and keep the workstation/stockroom neat and always organized.
- Wear proper safety/ESD equipment and follow company guidelines when performing assigned tasks.
- Pull material to ship to customers, vendors, and other Emerald facilities as required.
- Pull MTV material for production.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Basic Computer Skills (Office, Inventory Control Software, printing labels, etc.)
- Ability to Communicate and understand written and oral tasks.
- Basic Mathematical Skills.
- Ability to work independently.
- Organizational and Time Management Skills.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS & WORK ENVIRONMENT
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to sit. The employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; use hands to finger,
handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, or crouch. The employee must be able to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities perception and ability to adjust focus. - This position operates in an office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, photocopiers, etc.
