Desired Qualifications:

Experience as a paraprofessional or in a similar support role within educational settings
Strong communication and collaboration skills with both students and educators
Ability to adapt to various grade levels and learning needs
Patient, positive, and proactive approach to working with children and adolescents
High school diploma or equivalent required; advanced coursework or certifications are a plus

Key Responsibilities:

Provide academic and behavioral support for students across classrooms and small groups
Assist teachers with instructional activities, adapting materials as needed for varying student abilities
Monitor student engagement and help create a safe, inclusive environment
Support students with individualized education plans (IEPs) and follow specific accommodations as directed
Supervise students during non-instructional times, such as transitions, meals, and recess
Foster positive relationships with students, colleagues, and families to support overall learning and wellbeing
