Shift: Monday–Friday, 5 × 8-hour days (40 hours/week)
Work Type: Travel / Local (travel experience highly preferred)
Pay: 1750$/ Week
Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) with cardiology specialty to support our cardiology practice in Peterborough, NH. The LPN will provide direct patient care, perform cardiology-focused nursing procedures, support diagnostic testing and patient education, and collaborate with cardiologists and the healthcare team to deliver high-quality outpatient cardiology services.
This role is ideal for an LPN with strong cardiology experience, current BLS certification, and (preferably) prior travel nursing experience.
Key Responsibilities
Provide direct nursing care to cardiology patients in an outpatient practice setting.
Perform cardiology-specific nursing procedures (e.g., ECGs, stress test support, pre/post-procedure care, wound care, IV starts as permitted).
Assist with diagnostic testing, including ECG interpretation support and preparation for cardiac procedures.
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, following practice protocols.
Monitor and document patient vital signs, symptoms, and responses to treatment.
Educate patients on cardiac conditions, medications, lifestyle modifications, and follow-up care.
