Must have pleted Behavior Specialist / ABA Therapy training and have a minimum 1+ years Behavior Therapy experience. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A school district in Nashua, NH is seeking a dedicated Behavior Specialist to support students at the high school level. This contract position for the current school year (CSY) offers an opportunity to apply expertise in behavioral interventions within an educational setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) and develop Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) tailored to individual student needs.
  • Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to promote positive behavior strategies.
  • Provide direct support and training to students demonstrating challenging behaviors.
  • Monitor and track behavioral progress, adjusting interventions as necessary.
  • Offer consultation and guidance to school staff on behavior management techniques.

Preferred Qualifications and Skills:

  • Proven experience as a Behavior Specialist in school environments.
  • Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles.
  • Ability to work effectively with adolescents and diverse student populations.
  • Excellent munication and collaboration skills.
