Step into an essential position supporting the wellbeing and health of young students in a vibrant, educational environment. This full-time, onsite contract opportunity runs from August 17, 2026 through June 18, 2027, offering steady hours of 8 AM to 4 PM, Monday through Friday. You'll work directly with PreK–2nd grade learners, helping create a safe, nurturing school atmosphere.
Key Qualifications:
- Active Massachusetts LPN or RN license required
- Demonstrated school-based experience in a similar role
- Fingerprinting and CORI background clearance is mandatory
- Reliable transportation to and from the campus
- Commitment to working the full, required schedule with no accommodations
- Comfortable working with young children from preschool through second grade
- Open to both RN and LPN candidates
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide direct care to students for illness, injuries, and ongoing health issues
- Administer medications and manage care plans for students with chronic conditions
- Maintain thorough and confidential health records in accordance with regulations
- Serve as a medical resource for staff and students regarding preventative care and general wellness
- Respond promptly to health-related emergencies or concerns during the school day
- Collaborate with staff, parents, and external partners as needed to ensure optimal student support
