Position Overview
\n
We are seeking an experienced Ultrasound Technologist for an 8-week contract supporting inpatient and outpatient ultrasound services across Cambridge, Somerville, and Everett.
\n
The technologist must be comfortable floating between all three sites and working a flexible schedule based on staffing needs. The position supports patients of all ages and performs ultrasound examinations in the Radiology department.

Schedule Requirements

- 32 hours per week
- 10- or 12-hour shifts
- Primarily day/evening shifts
- Wednesday and Thursday coverage
- Every other Saturday and Sunday
- Rotating weekends required
- Candidate must be flexible with days of the week as staffing needs may change
- Holiday coverage is not guaranteed but may be optional
- Candidate must agree to float between Cambridge, Somerville, and Everett

Clinical Responsibilities
\n
The Ultrasound Technologist should be proficient and very comfortable performing:

- General Ultrasound
- Small Parts
- Vascular ultrasound\n
- \n
- Upper-extremity venous studies
- Lower-extremity venous studies
\n
\n
- OB/GYN\n
- \n
- Fetal surveys
- 1st trimester
- 2nd trimester
- 3rd trimester
\n
\n
\n
\n
- Pediatric ultrasound, including:\n
- \n
- Hips
- Spine
- Head
- Pylorus
- Intussusception
\n
\n
\n
\n
\n
- Inpatient ultrasound
- Outpatient ultrasound
- All routine Radiology department tasks
- Imaging patients across all age groups
\n
\n
\n
\n
\n
\n
\n
\n
\n
\n
Required Qualifications
\n
- \n
- 3+ years of Ultrasound experience
- ARDMS / RDMS required
- Current AHA BLS required
- Both ARDMS/RDMS and AHA BLS must be active at submission
- Strong experience with general, vascular, OB/GYN, small parts, and pediatric ultrasound
- Inpatient and outpatient experience
- Must be willing to float between Cambridge, Somerville, and Everett
