What we're seeking:
- Valid Early Childhood Special Education certification
- Demonstrated experience as a Special Education Teacher and/or Case Manager
- In-depth knowledge of the Special Education process, including compliance with State and Federal regulations
- Experience creating and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Strong ability to communicate and collaborate with families, related service providers, and multidisciplinary teams
- Passion for supporting preschool-age learners and tailoring instruction to diverse developmental needs
Key responsibilities in this position:
- Provide direct, specialized instruction to preschool students, adapting lessons to individual strengths and challenges
- Oversee case management for assigned students, ensuring timely development, implementation, and evaluation of IEPs
- Coordinate with staff and service providers to deliver comprehensive educational and support services
- Maintain accurate documentation and records in compliance with all regulatory requirements
- Serve as a point of contact for families, addressing concerns and fostering positive home-school partnerships
- Uphold confidentiality and adhere to best practices in Special Education at all times
