Key Responsibilities\n

  • Conduct thorough evaluations of clients' mental health needs and develop personalized treatment plans that cater to their unique circumstances.

  • Lead therapy sessions with individuals, couples, and families, utilizing techniques grounded in cognitive-behavioral therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, and other evidence-based methodologies.

  • Assist clients in establishing specific, achievable therapeutic goals, and monitor their progress throughout the treatment process.

  • Maintain comprehensive and accurate documentation of client interactions, treatment plans, and progress notes, ensuring compliance with HIPAA and state regulations.

  • Engage in continuous professional development by participating in training workshops, supervision sessions, and relevant seminars to enhance clinical skills.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role focuses on supporting a diverse clientele, including individuals who face anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship issues, and other mental health challenges. You will be instrumental in fostering a safe and non-judgmental environment where clients feel comfortable sharing their experiences and working toward recovery.

Qualifications\n

  • A Master’s degree or higher in Counseling, Social Work, or a related discipline is required.

  • Must hold a valid LCMHC license in the state of Vermont.

  • Proficiency in evidence-based treatment approaches, as well as a commitment to ongoing education and professional growth.

Preferred Experience\n

Prior experience in a remote counseling setting will be advantageous, as will familiarity with telehealth platforms. Additionally, experience working with specific populations such as adolescents, veterans, or individuals with co-occurring disorders can enhance your application.

Compensation and Benefits\n
