Description\n

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a 13-week ICU travel contract in New Hampshire, requiring 2-3 years of ICU experience and an active NH or compact RN license in hand at time of consideration.

  • Hospital-based ICU setting with a mixed critical care patient population
  • \n

  • 12-hour night shifts (7p–7a), three shifts per week
  • \n

  • Cerner EMR experience preferred but not required
  • \n

  • Floating required to the ED (not just ICU holds), stepdown, med/surg with modified assignment, and potentially behavioral health
  • \n

  • Specialized equipment includes balloon pumps, CRRT, Impella, ICP monitoring, Arctic Sun/TTM management, Alaris pumps, and rapid infusers
  • \n

  • Travel to satellite campuses in Laconia, NH and Franklin, NH may be requested
  • \n

Requirements\n

    \n
  • Active NH state license or compact RN license required at time of consideration — temp licenses are not accepted
  • \n

  • Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
  • \n

  • Minimum 2–3 years of ICU experience required; candidates closer to 2 years must demonstrate strong, well-rounded critical care skills and the ability to work independently
  • \n

  • CVICU experience is highly desirable
  • \n

  • Preferred certifications: TNCC, PALS, CCRN
  • \n

  • Valid driver's license with address matching demographics on file
  • \n

  • 2 recent specialty-specific references from a charge nurse or manager (no peers or co-workers)
  • \n

Additional Information\n

  • First-time travelers will not be considered for this position
  • \n

  • Former permanent staff may return as a traveler after a minimum 12-month break in service
  • \n

  • Weekly orientation is provided
  • \n

  • Candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility are eligible but will be placed on a local pay rate
  • \n

  • Please submit any requested time off (RTO) at the time of application
  • \n

  • 3 references will be required upon commitment (2 must be from leadership)
  • \n
