We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Yoga Instructor to lead engaging, safe, and effective yoga classes for participants of varying ages and fitness levels. The ideal candidate is passionate about helping others improve their well-being, committed to fostering an inclusive environment, and capable of building strong connections with members.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and lead yoga classes that accommodate a range of skill levels, from beginners to advanced participants
- Provide modifications and guidance to ensure safe participation for all members
- Create a welcoming and supportive environment that reflects the YMCA’s mission and values
- Maintain knowledge of current fitness trends and yoga practices
- Ensure proper use of equipment and maintain cleanliness of the studio space
- Build positive relationships with members and encourage continued participation in wellness programs
Qualifications:
- Current Yoga Instructor certification from a recognized training program
- Previous experience teaching group yoga classes preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Schedule & Compensation:
- Friday mornings 8:00 – 8:50a
- Pay Rate $21hr
