Quality Assurance Specialist Role:

Your role will involve conducting meticulous inspections and evaluations of both in-process and finished products, following established procedures and guidelines. You'll ensure quality benchmarks and process controls are consistently met during the manufacturing stages. Key Responsibilities:

  • Utilize strong numerical skills for calibration and specification measurement.

  • Be detail-focused to identify and address compliance issues with products or components.
  • Conduct visual and mechanical inspections of parts based on supervisor and inspector guidelines, both incoming and outgoing.
  • Analyze inspection reports and provide valuable feedback to supervisors and production staff.
  • Ensure timely inspection and packing of daily shipments.
  • Log all inspections of parts at designated intervals, using certified Quality Control processes and calibrated equipment.
  • Perform audits to verify quality standards are upheld.
  • Properly tag and handle suspect parts for designated area storage.
  • Be prepared and open to working overtime as needed.
  • Practice safety diligently to protect yourself and coworkers.
  • Report any hazardous conditions promptly.
  • Adhere to personal protective equipment requirements consistently.
  • Engage in necessary training programs as prescribed by management.
  • Execute additional tasks or duties essential to maintain company productivity.
  • Abide by all safety regulations and company policies compliant with OSHA and Pace standards.
  • Report directly to the Quality Manager, taking charge of quality control as instructed by higher management.

Who We're Looking For:

We require a high school diploma or previous experience in quality inspection. We provide on-the-job training for those new to quality control.

Physical Demands:

  • Ability to execute moderate lifting, up to 30 pounds.
  • Dexterity to interact with sample parts or products during the manufacturing process.
  • Capability to sit, stand for extended periods, bend, stoop, walk, climb stairs, and descend.
  • Understanding of technical documents, manuals, and blueprints to verify standards compliance.
