Qualifications & Experience:

• Valid certification as a Special Education Teacher.
• Experience working with high school students or a strong desire to work with this age group.
• Knowledge of IEP development, implementation, and compliance.
• Ability to engage cooperatively with colleagues, administration, and families.
• Compassion, patience, and strong communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, modify, and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) for assigned students.
• Deliver specialized instruction in both individual and group settings.
• Monitor student progress and adjust teaching strategies as needed.
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and collaborate with teaching staff.
• Foster a supportive, inclusive, and encouraging classroom environment.
