Key Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid Special Education licensure (or eligibility) for the state of New Hampshire
- Experience working with students receiving specialized services, preferably at the elementary or early childhood level
- Strong ability to communicate effectively across multidisciplinary teams and with families
- Thorough understanding of IEP development, documentation, and progress monitoring
- Previous experience in a high school or early childhood setting preferred, but not required
Responsibilities:
- Develop and provide specialized instruction for a kindergarten-aged student in a high school environment
- Serve as the student’s case manager, overseeing IEPs and ensuring accommodations are met
- Collaborate with general education staff, related service professionals, and parents to create unified support plans
- Maintain accurate documentation and participate in IEP meetings
- Foster a supportive, engaging atmosphere tailored to the student’s academic, behavioral, and emotional needs
