We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) – Operating Room to provide high-quality, safe, and compassionate patient care in a fast-paced clinical environment. The RN will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and coordinating patient care while ensuring compliance with nursing standards, safety protocols, infection control practices, and quality improvement initiatives.

The RN will also provide supervision and direction to staff and support hospital leadership in maintaining high standards of nursing care, staff competency, and effective resource management.

🔹 Key Responsibilities
\n
- \n
- 🩺 Provide direct clinical nursing care to assigned patients.
- 📋 Assess patient needs and develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans.
- 🤝 Coordinate and integrate patient care using the nursing process.
- ❤️ Provide safe, high-quality, and cost-effective nursing care.
- 👥 Supervise and appropriately delegate patient care activities to nursing staff.
- 🏥 Coordinate patient care within the prescribed medical treatment plan.
- 🛡️ Follow patient safety, risk management, quality improvement, and infection control standards.
- 🎯 Promote optimal patient outcomes and support patients through discharge.
- 🤝 Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
- 📚 Maintain clinical competency and follow hospital policies and procedures.
- 🚨 Fulfill Hospital Incident Command System (HICS) responsibilities during emergencies or disasters.
- ⚠️ Understand and appropriately respond to hospital emergency codes.
- 📌 Perform other related duties as assigned.

🎓 Required Qualifications
\n
- \n
- ✅ Graduate of a state-approved or accredited school of nursing.
- 🪪 Current Registered Nurse (RN) license as required by Massachusetts law and regulations.
- Current CPR certification.
- 🩺 Ability to provide safe, effective, and patient-centered nursing care.
- 💬 Strong clinical assessment, communication, organization, and teamwork skills.

⭐ Preferred Qualifications

- 🎓 Bachelor's or Master's degree in Nursing (BSN/MSN).
- 🏥 Previous Operating Room / Perioperative Nursing experience preferred.
