Career Staffing Talent (CST) has partnered with a fast-growing global technology and gaming company seeking a hands-on US Legal Counsel to lead legal affairs for its U.S. operations. This is a highly visible role supporting strategic initiatives across commercial contracts, regulatory compliance, product counseling, employment matters, and legal operations in a fast-paced international environment.
This is NOT a traditional big-company “manage outside counsel only” legal role. The company is looking for a practical, business-minded attorney who can roll up their sleeves, operate independently, and help build scalable legal infrastructure while partnering closely with executive leadership and global legal teams.
???? What You’ll Be Doing
✔ Lead legal support for U.S. strategic and operational initiatives from planning through execution
✔ Draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements, including vendor contracts, partnerships, and leases
✔ Advise leadership on regulatory compliance matters, including advertising, employment law, privacy, and data protection
✔ Partner cross-functionally with business teams, operations, product, and headquarters legal leadership
✔ Coordinate and manage outside counsel relationships across the U.S.
✔ Monitor evolving legal and regulatory developments impacting gaming, AI, internet products, and digital platforms
✔ Help build scalable compliance and legal processes in a growing global organization
✔ Support legal education and internal compliance training initiatives across U.S. teams
???? What We’re Looking For
✔ J.D. or LL.M. from an accredited university
✔ Licensed to practice law (preferably MASS or CA)
✔ 5+ years of relevant experience with a blend of law firm and in-house exposure preferred
✔ Strong commercial contracts, compliance, and legal operations background
✔ Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a fast-moving environment
✔ Startup mentality with a pragmatic, solutions-oriented approach to legal problem solving
✔ Experience supporting technology, gaming, internet, SaaS, AI, or digital product businesses strongly preferred
✔ Familiarity with privacy, trust & safety, online platform operations, or child/minor protection regulations is a plus
