Job Description

About the Role: We are a local real estate investment and property management team looking for a skilled Make-Ready Technician to help us flip and turn over apartments in the Manchester area. Your primary focus will be taking recently vacated or renovated units and bringing them to the finish line so they are 100% move-in ready for our next tenants.

This role is highly focused on light carpentry, basic plumbing, and electrical fixture updates. You will be provided with a standardized Make-Ready Checklist for each unit to ensure quality and consistency.

What You Will Do:

  • Carpentry & Fixtures: Install and replace interior and exterior doors, hardware, and cabinet pulls.
  • Kitchen & Bath Upgrades: Remove and replace kitchen and bathroom countertops.
  • Light Plumbing: Remove and install new faucets, toilets, showerheads, and address minor leaks or supply line replacements.
  • Light Electrical: Swap out light fixtures, ceiling fans, outlets, switches, and ensure smoke/CO detectors are functional.
  • Quality Assurance: Follow a strict Make-Ready Checklist to guarantee every unit meets our move-in quality standards.
  • General Handyman Tasks: Patch minor drywall dings, replace blinds, adjust cabinet hinges, and handle final punch-list items.
  • Snow Removal: Pitch in with snow removal during winter storms
  • On Call: Handle on call emergency issues one week out of a five week rotation.

What We Are Looking For:

  • Experience: 2+ years of experience in apartment maintenance, remodeling, property turnover, or general handyman work.
  • Technical Skills: Proven ability to confidently install plumbing fixtures (toilets/faucets), swap electrical fixtures, and properly hang doors.
  • Attention to Detail: Ability to follow a checklist systematically and take pride in a finished product.
  • Reliability: Punctual, communicative, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.

How to Apply: Please submit your resume highlighting your relevant turnover, maintenance, or remodeling experience. If you have photos of past work (kitchen/bath updates, door installations), please include them or a link to your portfolio.
